Dance Party

About the event

Take a free basic swing dance lesson 7:00 to 8:00 at the Falcon Bowl in Riverwest (no partner needed and all abilities are welcome). Dancers will rotate partners while learning the basic steps and a move. You can choose to be a leader or a follow. Consider staying from 8:00 to 10:00 and dance to a live swing band (always free to enter but the band welcomes tips). Cold water provided and a welcoming social dance community of all ages awaits! Trigger Warning: The dance hall has a bar that is visible but closed during the entire event but there is a bar in a separate room and a bowling alley downstairs.

What to bring?

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for dancing. An extra shirt is sometimes helpful if you get sweaty :)

Special instructions

Come up the stairs and straight back into the large dance hall (listen for the jazz music!)
