October Volunteer Challenge - The Phoenix
Back

Event Details

Happy Vol-O-Ween!

The colors of leaves are changing, temperatures are dropping, and the pumpkin spice latte is back! The arrival of Fall and the spirit of Halloween calls for more events like a coffee social, nature hike, and pumpkin carving contests, and who would be better suited to make these events happen in your community than YOU?

Join us for a collective Volunteer Challenge during the month of October and lead your very own fall-inspired event! The Phoenix is on a mission to reach as many people as possible, and volunteers are central to our strategy. Our October Volunteer Challenge can help you get involved in the Phoenix on a deeper level and get started in leading impactful events in your community. Get started as a volunteer today and lead your own event by October 31.

The purpose of this challenge is for current volunteers and anyone considering volunteering to jump start their very own October Event! By registering here, you will be able to access the Volunteer Challenge Facebook Group, where you can ask questions, brainstorm event ideas, and share experiences.

Not quite ready to lead your own Vol-O-Ween event? Refer a trusted friend to volunteer with you! Anyone can become a Phoenix volunteer. We invite you to help us build our community of changemakers and create Phoenix communities for people who are looking for the opportunity to connect as the holiday season approaches. Anyone who participates in the Volunteer Drive by leading a Vol-O-Ween event or refers a friend who leads a Vol-O-Ween event by October 31 earns the chance to win a Phoenix hoodie!

Share how your Vol-O-Ween event is taking shape in the VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE COMMUNITY FACEBOOK GROUP.  Rock your Phoenix gear or Halloween costume and walk or run.  Gather your neighbors, family and friends for a pumpkin carving contest, a coffee social or a nature hike to capture the fall leaves.  Leverage this community challenge to connect with other sober active people in your community.
