Who We Are

We are a diverse group of individuals who share a passion for recovery, an enthusiasm for innovation, and a deep belief in people and their potential. We aspire to shift the tide of the substance use epidemic and create a movement of millions thriving in recovery. We foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and learning—and our organization feels more like a start-up than a nonprofit.

Representing The Communities We Serve

At The Phoenix, we strive to create a team that’s as dynamic as the communities we serve, and a work environment where everyone feels like they belong. That’s why we approach all company decision-making and recruitment strategies through an equity lens. Because a community is only as strong as it is diverse.

Abide

Founded on the values of Access, Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity, our Phoenix ABIDE committee provides an organization-wide accountability function to ensure that these values are integrated into every aspect of our operations. Through education, policy advising, collaborative decision-making, and implementation support, we help center ABIDE principles within The Phoenix’s organizational strategy.

Fellows gain industry knowledge relevant to their career goals, hands-on experience supporting individuals in recovery from substance use, and an enduring sense of place within our national Phoenix family.
