Meet Richard Falls

I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to be part of such an amazing organization. From the moment I heard about The Phoenix, I knew that I needed to be involved. Born and raised in South Jersey, I moved to South Florida in 2009 to find recovery. Sports and being active have always been a huge part of my life. However, when I started drinking and using drugs anything that resembled an active lifestyle ceased to exist in my life. I believe that alcoholism and substance-use disorder is a three-fold disease; mind, body and spirit. The Phoenix nurtures all three, plus community, and gives individuals the tools they need to be successful in life. I moved to Denver April 2017 to be part of The Phoenix, joining the team as a Peer Recovery Coach. I am very excited to contribute my experiences and knowledge to helping people on their road to recovery. Colorado Peer and Family Specialist with the IC&RC, CFL2, USAPL Club Coach, PSIA Level 1
