Welcome to The Phoenix Philly! We're here to rewrite the narrative of recovery, and we'd love for you to join us! Whether you're in recovery, a friend, relative, or ally seeking substance-free events, you're invited to be part of our community. Our programs resonate with the heart of Philadelphia, providing a space where you can be yourself, uplift your neighbors, and grow together. All programming is FREE with the simple expectation that all participants respect The Phoenix Community Guidelines.
Support The Phoenix in Philadelphia as we bring a Community Center and free gym to the neighborhood! Help us create a safe, substance-free space for the community! You can support this project by contacting Councilmember Young, signing a message of support, attending local events, and joining us at the Zoom Zoning Hearing on April 2, 2025. Follow us on Instagram at @phillysoberevents for updates!
The Phoenix thrives thanks to the incredible support of our community partners. These mission-aligned organizations and businesses generously offer their spaces, time, and resources to help us promote community wellness and support healing journeys. Their contributions enable us to provide free, active programming that reaches and uplifts everyone in our community. With the support of our community, we are building a stronger, more resilient movement and working towards destigmatizing recovery. If you are passionate about community, wellness, mental health and/or recovery support and are interested in partnering with The Phoenix in Philadelphia, we would love to hear from you! Please reach out to Lauren Johnston, Philadelphia Manager, to learn more.

Register for Dry Vibes PhillyPhilly Rise Recovery Festival, a collaboration between The Phoenix and the Fourth District Container Village, had a successful debut as a vibrant celebration of recovery and community. This inaugural event brought together individuals from all backgrounds to honor the strength, resilience, and diverse paths to healing. Philly Rise created a welcoming space where the community could come together to support one another and embrace recovery journeys of all kinds - whether related to substance use, mental health, trauma, grief, or other shared challenges. Thanks to the tremendous support from our community partners, Philly Rise Recovery Festival will now be an annual event during National Recovery Month. Each year, we aim to grow and expand this celebration, offering even more music, art, wellness activities, and opportunities for connection as we continue to build a stronger, more supportive community.
