In Their Name is a national day of remembrance and connection for the people we’ve lost to substance use, mental health struggles, and isolation—built directly out of a tradition we already have at The Phoenix: our hikes in Moab, where each person carries a small stone and creates a cairn (a stack or pile of stones) at the end of the trail.
On September 19th, 2026 (and on the third Saturday in September every year moving forward), we'll come together to carry their names, and everything those names still mean to us.
We remember the lives they lived. The ways they made us laugh. The music they loved. The people they changed. The ordinary moments we still wish they were here for.
Together, we carry their names, and create a path to hope and healing.
