Dr. Lembke serves on the boards of several state and national addiction-focused organizations, and her work brings together science, medicine, and the lived realities of addiction and recovery, making her perspective especially meaningful to The Phoenix.

Sarah, a Tampa Volunteer, first started attending Phoenix events about ten months ago with her partner who is in recovery.  They were looking for fun and sober things to do together and found a supportive community in The Phoenix Tampa!  Because she believed so strongly in the Ethos and keeping the sober movement going, Sarah completed the volunteer application and started leading her own Phoenix events!  She currently leads rock climbing, shuffleboard, and dog park socials.

The Phoenix Tampa is a community for those seeking a sober lifestyle. Gayle Guyardo, host of the global health and wellness show, Bloom, talked with Troy Fowler, who shares his journey as a parent navigating his son’s alcohol addiction, as well as Taylor Wallace, who found home in this community during his own recovery.
