Here at The Phoenix Tampa, everyone is welcome. Whether you're in recovery, sober curious, or a friend, relative, or ally who wants to be supportive and part of our community. Join our movement here in Tampa where together we are stronger. The cost of any Phoenix class or event? 48 hours of sobriety. That's it.
We hope you can join us for our annual fundraising event, Fit to be King Luncheon, on Thursday, February 20, at Armature works. At The Phoenix, we’re fueling a movement that builds on the power of community and belonging to change how society approaches addiction and recovery. Through local and virtual sober events and activities, we create safe spaces for all individuals to connect, build friendships, find support, stay sober, and have fun.
Sarah, a Tampa Volunteer, first started attending Phoenix events about ten months ago with her partner who is in recovery. They were looking for fun and sober things to do together and found a supportive community in The Phoenix Tampa! Because she believed so strongly in the Ethos and keeping the sober movement going, Sarah completed the volunteer application and started leading her own Phoenix events! She currently leads rock climbing, shuffleboard, and dog park socials. A fun fact about Sarah: she has seen every episode of Survivor, and she loves the show so much that she teaches a college class that she developed called “The Psychology of Survivor." Her favorite motto comes from a random TikTok video: “Your best is what you can do without harming your physical and mental health, not what you can accomplish by disregarding them.” Thank you, Sarah, for volunteering with The Phoenix Tampa to keep our sober events fun, free, and accessible!
