About the event

ARTFUL MENDING from wild fabric patches to needle felted dragons your clothing repairs can become wearable art! Bring your favorite jeans that have developed a pesky hole, that sweater the moths got into and we’ll show you how to turn a simple repair into a decorative enhancement. Supplies provided: sewing needles, embroidery floss, wild patch materials, wool and felting needles. * A crockpot of something hearty will be served up … bring something to add to the meal if you can.

What to bring?

A piece of clothing that needs a hole to be patched or an item you’d like to add your personal artistic touch to. You’re welcome to bring your own patching or mending supplies but plenty will be provided as well.
