Beach Bonfire

About the event

Juneteenth Summer Solstice Bonfire & Book Exchange commemorating Juneteenth and the longest day of the year. Bring a snack and any books you enjoyed to exchange. Or, just take home something new to read at the pool or beach this summer. I always have my bonfires at the same spot. Fiesta Island facing Crown Point Shores, near the off-leash dog area. At intersection near the PortaPotty. Look for the Phoenix flag. Will try to drop a pin day of, or text Yovel at 619-467-9841 if you can't find us. Seaworld has their fireworks show starting at 8:50pm. Pets are welcome but know there will be fireworks if they are scared of them.

What to bring?

Beach games, a jacket, a snack, books to exchange, a blanket, a chair, serving utensils for whatever food you bring. You know what you need for a good beach bonfire.
