Who needs alcohol to party? Instead, spend your Saturday night on the beach, around a warm fire, with other sober people. We will be on the beautiful Monterey State Beach, right next to the second commercial wharf. Right now the weather looks good for the 22nd, but of course that may change, so be sure to look back here for updates. See you there! The plan is to do these bonfires twice a a month on Saturdays. But we will be flexible in case of rain.
Be sure to bring warm clothes. You can also bring something to sit on, and maybe a flashlight. Extra firewood is greatly appreciated as well. Feel free to bring snacks and/or nonalcoholic beverages.
The closest parking lot is at 703 Del Monte Ave. -Or-You can park in the big parking lot next to to the commercial wharf, ("Wharf 2.") Then just look on the beach to the east and look for the fires. Again, check back here for updates.
