About the event

Saturday is Global Big Day for birders all around the world. A Big Day or Big Year is when you track the number of individual species you ID in a day/year. It’s geeky even for avid birders, and it also really fun. It’s a competition where everyone wins! Come be part of the crowd. Peak bird season is right now and they will be out in force Saturday. Parking can be tough, so allow time or get there via bike/Uber/bus.

What to bring?

Just some water and snacks if you want them. If you have binoculars please bring them. If not, we have many to share.
