About the event

Hello fellow readers!! During July 2026 we will be reading True Grit by Charles Portis. We will meet in room B6 at Library 21C on the last Saturday of the month at 10:30 to discuss. Read the book at your own pace. If you aren’t able to finish the book, and you don’t mind a potential spoiler, please still come! We want to hear your thoughts. Enjoy reading and I look forward to discussing with you! (If accessing the book is ever a barrier to your participation, please send me a DM, I have a few free or low-cost resources to share.)

What to bring?

The main thing to bring is your thoughts, feelings, and questions about the book. Some optional things to bring are your copy of the book, note-taking materials, personal beverage and snack.
