About the event

✨️ Join us for a creative workshop at the hidden 🗿🏺 ceramic studio + 🌻 garden behind the new ⚕️ Being Alive Center, where we'll work with clay to craft symbolic coins and totems. These pieces will function as both personal keepsakes and vital contributions to a broader, unique community art project combining civic engagement, recovery, forestry, and art. 🎨🪴🌴 🙏 This program is made possible by a generous partnership with Being Alive, whose foundational mission and vision inspire us to host this creative ceramics event for The Phoenix community. 💜

What to bring?

An open mind to what recovery can look like and do! Oh, and water 💧 and snacks 🍿 are always a great idea! Also, clay can be worked like pasta dough; so if you have cool cookie cutters shapes 🍪 or a favorite molding piece, bring that! 🧩🏺

Special instructions

🚪The Studio ENTRANCE is WEST (RIGHT) of the 7976 Santa Monica Blvd entrance. Follow the corridor out to the back patio. 🪴🏺🅿️ There is ample street parking around that doesn't require a permit at this time of day.
