✨️ Join our ceramic/clay workshop at the hidden 🗿🏺 ceramic studio behind the new “Being Alive! Center”, where we’ll be crafting symbolic coins and totems using clay. 🪙 🎨🪴These pieces will serve as personal keepsakes, while simultaneously contributing to a unique community art project meant to intertwine civic engagement, recovery, forestry, and art. 🌴 ❤️🔥 This program is made possible by a generous partnership with “Being Alive! Los Angeles”. Their foundational mission and vision inspired us to launch this creative ceramics event for our The Phoenix community.
An open mind to what recovery can look like and do! Oh, and water 💧 and snacks 🍿 are always a great idea! Also, clay can be worked like pasta dough; so if you have cool cookie cutters shapes 🍪 or a favorite molding piece, bring that! 🧩🏺
🚪The Studio ENTRANCE is WEST (RIGHT) of the 7976 Santa Monica Blvd entrance. Follow the corridor out to the back patio. 🪴🏺🅿️ There is ample street parking around that doesn't require a permit at this time of day.
