Welcome to a Beginner ASL (American Sign Language) Class held in a relaxed and friendly environment at Lestat’s Coffee Shop in Hillcrest (2nd floor). This is a 6-week class, meeting for 2 hours each session, designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of ASL, improve communication skills, and connect with others in a supportive space. The class is completely free and open to anyone interested in learning ASL. We will focus on basic signs, conversation practice, and building confidence using ASL. ASL alphabet (ABC) and numbers charts will be provided for practice between classes. Looking forward to learning and signing together 😁
Notebook & Pen, Drinks and food are available for purchase at the establishment. Lets support Lestat's for having an amazing space we can use! Good attitude and patient parking can be difficult.
Please arrive on time as class will begin promptly. Give yourself time to park and order food/drinks. This is a beginner-friendly and respectful learning environment for everyone. 😁🙏🏽💙
