Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals

About the event

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on ground fighting and submissions. This fundamentals course is designed for beginners but isn't limited to those without previous experience in similar arts or sports. The traditional uniform is provided.

What to bring?

A spandex or tight shirt under the jacket and shorts under the gi pants.

Special instructions

Bringing flip-flops to move from the lockers to the mat area is helpful. When inside the mat, no shoes are allowed. Traditionally, you practice on bare feet but you may use socks.
