About the event

Join us for a magical summer night under the stars as we watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone at Astoria Park! This free outdoor screening is part of the Central Astoria LDC’s Summer Movie Series and will take place on Ditmars Lawn (between Shore Blvd and 19th Street). The movie will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but let’s meet at 6:30 p.m. to secure a good spot and catch up before the movie starts.

What to bring?

Blanket or lawn chair, snacks or beverages, and anything cozy to keep you comfortable during the movie.

Special instructions

We’ll be gathering on Ditmars Lawn—look for the Groove Cruise blanket near the middle of the field around 6:30 p.m. Come early if you want to sit together and chat before the movie begins. This is a free event, but space fills up quickly.
