Nature journaling at Circle Acres Preserve inside Roy G. Guerrero Park. We’ll go on a short hike into the preserve, learn about some of the area plants, animals and the ecosystem. Then stop to observe, draw, write and journal about what we find. This is a wetlands area with good options for fungi and water-dependent plants. This is a great activity for slowing down, stepping outside yourself and for noticing the world around you in a new light.
Water, sunscreen and a curious mind. Optional: Bring your own journal and writing instrument. We’ll provide those as well.
We’ll meet by the first parking spots in Roy G. Guerrero Park. There is ample parking inside the park. A “The Phoenix” tshirt will be displayed. Please message on the app or text 920-639-8055 on the day of if you’re having trouble finding the group.
