Colorado Springs area Outdoor Rock Climbing! All Levels welcome! No climbing gear or climbing experience is required. Climbing location will vary based on weather. The Library parking lot is the meetup point to start our caravan out to the chosen climbing rock for the day. When the weather is nice in town we may climb in the City limits but please be prepared to drive up to an hour and a half to the rock, including some dirt roads. When arriving at the Library parking lot look around for the event lead in the Phoenix volunteer shirt. Anyone more than 15 min late will be considered a "no show", the group will leave and head for the rock.
Please bring your own: Snacks, Water, Sunscreen, Bug spray, and closed toed shoes. Bring whatever personal climbing gear you have: Climbing Shoes, Harness, Helmet, Belay Device. The above will be provided by the event lead if you don't have your own.
Please fill out and submit the free Colorado Springs City Rock Climbing Permit here: https://coloradosprings.gov/rock-climbing This must be filled out once per calender year.
