Join us for a ruck walk! Rucking—walking with a weighted backpack or rucksack—is a fun, low-impact way to build strength, improve endurance, and boost overall fitness. It’s accessible to everyone, whether you bring a weighted pack or just yourself! This ruck walk will be about 2.5-3 miles on paved, mostly flat trail. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome!
Weighted backpack or rucksack - a good starting point for beginners is about 10% of body weight but less is ok. Household items such as water bottles, books, or small dumbbells can be used to add weight. Bring comfortable shoes and water.
