About the event

We’re back this week with another Mission Bay Area ride. From a segment pulled off Strava, it is 32mi, going up Rose Creek, out to the top of Mount Soledad, through La Jolla, down the coast through Mjssjon Beach, and back to the starting point at the entrance to Fiesta Island.

What to bring?

Bicycle in good working condition, helmet, tail light, water, sunscreen, replacement tube or patch kit. I have a spare tube for 700x25c, some patches, and a hand pump. Bring snacks if you tire out easily - we will be riding for most of the 2.5hrs.

Special instructions

Meet at the dirt lot at the entrance to Fiesta Island. We may stop for coffee near the end of the ride if that is what the group wants to do. The route I am taking is a variation of “Pas normal x switchback velo” on Strava
