Join us for a Sunday walk around Lone Mountain! Rucking is walking with a weighted backpack or rucksack and is an effective, beginner-friendly, low-impact way to build strength, improve endurance, and boost overall fitness. You are welcome to ruck with weight or simply walk without a pack, either way is ok! This ruck walk will be about 2.5-3 miles on unpaved, dirt trail with minor elevation gain. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome!
Weighted backpack or rucksack (optional). A good starting point for beginners is about 10% of body weight but less is ok. Household items such as water bottles, books, or small dumbbells can be used to add weight. Bring comfortable shoes and water.
