Running Form Workshop! Learn how to run more efficiently and reduce the risk of injuries. We'll practice techniques, so come ready to move (no long run involved). You can take what you learn and practice them at the Phoenix running events on Sat. and Sun. This workshop is perfect for beginners, the running-curious, and experienced runners alike. Also great for those training for the La Jolla Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k. We'll cover hill running, so you can confidently conquer the Torrey Pines hill. For those interested, this event counts towards a ballot into the lottery for one of 12 free La Jolla Half entries. Drawing will be on April 27th.
Bring water. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in, ideally running shoes. It will be near the water around sunset, so may help to dress in layers.
We will meet near the blue roof pavilion, playground, and restrooms at De Anza Cove. Can park in the parking lot closest to De Anza Rd. Look for a Phoenix lawn sign. Note: The address on this app may take you to a different parking lot.
