To celebrate the summer solstice, on 6/21 we will be having a short meeting and then playing in a therapeutic drum circle. Self Management and Recovery Training (SMART) is a mutual aid recovery support group aimed to help build and maintain motivation; cope with urges; manage thoughts, feelings, and behavior; and live a balanced lifestyle. We meet every Saturday at 10 AM, for this drum circle we will be meeting at Prairie Creek Park in Richardson. Park at Prairie Creek Elementary School and look for a car with a sign. Optional: pen & something to write on, any drums or household objects that can make noise. There will be extra drums!
