Tidepooling

About the event

Come and explore a local tide pool and get up close to sea creature that make their homes in nooks and crannies of the rocks of Swami’s beach. Expect to see sea anemones, sculpins, crabs, and even the occasional octopus. During this outing you will learn how to observe the tiny animals that make their home in the intertidal zone.  We will meet at Swami’s sea side park by the top of the stairs, then we will walk down to the tide pools together. 

What to bring?

Bring a flashlight and shoes that can get wet. Remember to dress warmly!
