In Yin yoga we hold poses for around three minutes each. We close off the flow of energy to a specific part of the body and then in the next posture open up that part so energy can rush there. While it is a slow practice, it can be invigorating and can bring emotions or previous unknowns to the surface. Bring a pillow if you like. The whole practice is done seated or close to the floor.
The studio has blocks and a limited amount of blankets but not many pillows so please bring your own pillow! Wear comfy clothes like sweatpants, a t shirt, and socks (if your feet get cold). You may also want to bring your own blanket.
Enter the studio through the back and do your best to arrive early!
