Lead the recovery movement where you live. As a Volunteer Community Leader, you’ll help people find connection, build partnerships, and grow a strong, welcoming community in your city. This is your chance to spark change where it matters most: your backyard.
Volunteer Community Leaders help launch and grow The Phoenix in select metro areas. You’ll welcome volunteers, partner with local organizations, and make sure events feel safe, positive, and fun. This is a one-year volunteer role (about 10–15 hours per week) starting in October 2025. You’ll get training, ongoing support from our team, and a peer network to learn and grow with. Grow the community by recruiting new volunteers and members who are ready to make a difference.
Build local partnerships with organizations that share our mission and values.
Create safe, supportive spaces at events where people feel seen and included.
Lift engagement and energy so events stay positive, meaningful, and fun.
Your leadership helps more people find sober active community and the intrinsic strength to thrive in recovery.
