Event Details
Tuesday, August 23rd @ 7pm EST
In this workshop, we will explore a variety of movements and exercises to help understand and safely perform a handstand. There is no expectation to be able to do a handstand, but only to have an open mind to learning the steps.
During this 90-minute workshop, we will try different ways of kicking up into handstands, work on ways to feel safe on and off the wall, and work on press prep activation and practice. We will spend time warming up the wrists and core, and move through a short flow that will open the hamstrings and heat up the body. It is best if you have a space where you are able to kick up onto a wall. Most importantly, please join this workshop with an open mind and curiosity.
