We are honored to welcome Jackson Longan from Oxford House to kick off our Storytelling Webinar series!

Jackson Longan | Director of Communication & Information, Oxford House, Inc.

Jackson Longan is the Director of Communication & Information for Oxford House, Inc. He has been in long-term recovery since January 14th, 2006 and has worked with Oxford House since August 1st, 2007. Jackson started as an Outreach Worker for the state of Oklahoma from 2007 – 2010, where he opened over 40 Oxford Houses. In 2010 he was promoted to Regional Manager and continued to open houses while supervising Outreach Workers in OK and TX. In 2013, Jackson moved to Texas as Regional Manager and lived there for 9 years. During that time he supervised the OHI staff working in TX, OK, AR, MO, NE, NM, AZ, WI, IL, and MN. Jackson now lives back in his home state of OK and works on a national level as the liaison for the World Council and supports OHI through is director position with public relations, legislation, advocacy, training, and social media. He also chairs the planning committee for the World Convention. He has an Associate of Science (AS) Degree in Enterprise Development from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Jackson is also nationally certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist He has training as an assessor for Level of Service Inventory–Revised (LSI-R), Adult Substance Use Survey (ASUS), and opioid overdose prevention and reversal.
